E@I{/1} (Education@Internet) is an international youth organisation that promotes international collaboration and communication throughout the world by hosting educational projects supporting intercultural learning and the use of languages and Internet technologies. The organization accomplishes its objectives though website development, publishing CDs, DVDs, and books, production of teaching materials, and organisation of seminars. In addition to constant employees, E@I has at its disposal a network of 493 volunteers (data from the 25th of January 2012). E@I's most successful project of E@I is lernu! (www.lernu.net), a site to learn Esperanto founded in 2002. The site is available in 37 languages and has more than 130,000 registered users. The development of a similar e-learning tool for the Slovak language (www.slovake.eu) was financed by the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) in 2009-2011 and it has now 6,000 registered users. A third web portal, www.deutsch.info, is being developed (the work began in May 2013).

Studio Gaus** is a studio based in Germany operating in the field of new media. The company actively collaborates with experienced designers and developers from the whole world in order to ensure that the challenges of the projects are taken up by experts able to carry them out. The agency has extensive experience in designing and realising complex multilingual websites with a large user base and in search engine optimisation (SEO), as well as experience in collaborating with various organisations and firms at the international level. In the last years, the studio has been mostly focusing on educational projects. Studio Gaus already participated in many online language projects and created several websites utilising computer-assisted language learning, some general educational websites, etc. It administrates the web portal lernu!, completely developed www.slovake.eu including the design, CMS, administration system, translation system, dictionaries, exercises, etc. It is now developing www.deutsch.info and new websites aiming to promote languages.

Jazyková a odborná príprava cudzincov a krajanov - Centrum ďalšieho vzdelávania Univerzity Komenského is an autonomous department of the Comenius University in Bratislava. It teaches Slovak and other subjects to foreign students, interested foreigners and nationals. Apart from the study programs, UJOP published its own textbooks, multimedia learning resources and is engaged in the creation of a methodology to teach Slovak as a foreign language. The graduates obtain internationally recognised diplomas that confirm their knowledge of Slovak, based on criteria established by the project Testovanie jazykových kompetencií, honoured in 2003 by the European label for innovative initiatives in language teaching 2003 (Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

JULS is a major linguistic institution in the Slovak Republic. The institute has a long tradition of compiling dictionaries for academics and for the general public, producing linguistic atlases and specialised publications on different aspects of linguistic research. The institute's recent work in Natural Language Processing (NLP) has resulted in the Slovak National Corpus project, a representative corpus of texts written in contemporary Slovak. The corpus contains about 700 million words. A morphological analysis tool for the Slovak language contains the full conjugations and declensions of about 60 000 words with detailed morphological information. It also has a framework for modern, next generation electronic dictionaries. The institute has also developed a number of traditional Slovak monolingual dictionaries, grammar guides and other resources that are available in electronic form.

AhojSlovakia is a Polish company whose main goal is to organise Slovak courses for foreigners, mainly in Kraków, Poland, but also in other cities. Together with Slovak professors, it leads two-semester courses for various levels, individual lessons, online lessons by Skype, conversation exercises and thematic lessons aimed chiefly at company employees. The company also organizes the Summer school of Slovak language and culture in Orava. The goal is not only to learn Slovak, but also to discover Slovakia directly on location, especially in the Orava region. The summer school includes visits to cultural and educational partner institutions. AhojSlovakia participated to several projects such as Poznajme sa lepšie, in collaboration with the town hall of Zakopane, a Slovak course for the city hall employees in Nowy Sącz and Zakopane and many other. The company also does translations from Slovak to Polish and conversely.

The Research Institute for Linguistics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences (RILHAS) is a key player in applied linguistics and sociolinguistics in the Hungarian language. Its activities are focused on the development of tools and resources for language users and research about language minorities in Hungary, which also include Slovak speakers.

Poduzetničko razvojni centar Općine Erdut (Business and development center of the Erdut municipality) carries business in the Croatian and European market. This organisation has been active since November 1st, 2007. Its headquarters are situated in the building of a former school that was rebuilt with the support of the European Union and the municipality of Erdut. PORC Erdut is known as a very efficient institution that meets challenges with great commitment, constantly follows the market and adapts to change. In the future, we want to provide a platform that receives as much information, resources and knowledge as possible and to connect entrepreneurs with the local government and the citizens with the help of new ways of collaborating. We want to support sustainable development and to make use of the potential of the European Union, with an emphasis on education, protection of existing jobs and identification of possibilities to create new jobs on the territory of the Erdut municipality. The portfolio of the organisation includes business consulting (excluding legal counselling), dissemination (advertisement), analysis of markets and public opinion, buying and selling goods (excluding weapons, ammunition, medicine and poison), arranging commercial contact on national and foreign markets, publishing activities and printing.
